http://youngonetwothree.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Snapping turtles and bonfires oh my! This huge snapping turtle was casually roaming through my brothers backyard the other day. It was so big! We kept our distance and now the boys know they need to be careful.we are loving the nature we are finding with having a small wooded area behind our house! And we also have had a lot of trees and branches to burn so here is one of our big fires that we had. Summer is great for so many reasons! Thanks for stopping by! Thanks for stopping by!

The Young Family: USS Silversides tour
http://youngonetwothree.blogspot.com/2015/08/uss-silversides-tour.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. While in Muskegon my mom and I took the boys to tour a submarine, the USS Silversides, while my dad and kris went golfing. Owen has been into ships and shipwrecks and anything to do with ships for a while now so this was pretty exciting. This particular sub housed I think 80 guys. It was very tight with just us 4 in there, I can't imagine 80! I'm pretty sure we counted four total toilets on the sub. The boys liked the guns, of course! Outside of the sub. A journey to you.

Monday, August 31, 2015. I offered my nephews and niece a chance to paint on some leftover drywall yesterday. I had no idea it would be such a big hit! All of them wanted to paint except Owen. Here is Wyatt's masterpiece. An acorn! It was a fun little bit and kept all the kids occupied and allowed them to use their imagination :). Sunday, August 30, 2015. I love working on projects with kris, I really do.and I'm already looking forward to our next project, hopefully soon! Here are a few befores. I really...

The Young Family: March 2015
http://youngonetwothree.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 17, 2015. This past weekend we took a little vacation and had some fun. Thursday we headed up north and stayed overnight at great wolf lodge. It was a fun time however the boys decided they would prefer kalahari.which both kris and I agreed! On Friday we headed to crystal mountain where my parents rented a five bedroom condo for my whole family to enjoy. It was the perfect set up and everyone had their own space. Wyatt and Katie get along so well and are so adorable! Owen and my dad skiing.

The Young Family: Learning your child has a birth defect.....8 years later!
http://youngonetwothree.blogspot.com/2015/08/learning-your-child-has-birth-defect8.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Learning your child has a birth defect.8 years later! On July 2, Owen was diagnosed with something called optic nerve coloboma.in both eyes. This means he has holes in his optic nerves to both eyes. Behind in reading.but it has never been so far behind where I was overly concerned.more frustrating because I felt like he should be further ahead than where he was at. Maybe someday something will happen, God willing everything will continue to be fine for him other than a few min...

The Young Family: Goose Lake
http://youngonetwothree.blogspot.com/2015/08/goose-lake.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. My family headed to Goose Lake a few weeks ago where we enjoyed a week on the water. The house that we stayed at was very lovely. Owen picked a great reading area. He also was addicted to this piano for the week. A few miles down the road was a place called cement city. All of these are made out of cement and are supposed to look like trees. It was very cool. I think there were 17 bridges made like this. The boys had a fun time running across each one. A journey to you.

There are things that I want to do to the outside of the house yet.but that won't happen for a few years I imagine. Thanks for stopping by!

These pics were taking at his party.Owen was entertaining us white a pretty cool card trick. His deck was mostly filled with 3's of clubs! They grow up too fast! Thanks for stopping by!
