Saturday, February 16, 2008. Baltimore and Mount Doom. Thanks for everything else Di - I ate all of the Swiss Cake Rolls in one day and didn't even feel bad about it. I only had to work for 2 hours, then I picked him up, and we drove over to Papamoa - my home - and went right to a cafe/bar to watch the Superbowl. For those of you who are timezone challenged, we are 18 hours ahead of the east cost, so kickoff was Monday 12 noon. We didn't get to see commercials but we did get to see a good game.

Thursday, April 24, 2008. I've already been in Baltimore for one week - sorry Robyn for not posting sooner, hopefully these next few posts will make up for all of us slackers. My frist week was filled with mostly family get togethers - my sister flew in from Portland and my cousin and her family drove in from Chicago and we've been pretty much non-stop this whole week. Hanging out at the ranch - still one of the most beautiful places around. Alex got a bike for his birthday, and I just had to try it out.

Tuesday, October 23, 2007. In case you didn't know, my birthday was this past thursday. My students were all very nice to me on my birthday ( I had to keep reminding them about the specal day). Two students picked flowers from people's yards for me and another brought in some legitimate flowers for me. Later in the day, Carolyn and Sarah, my 2 new friends who teach at the high school, made dinner for me and I blew out the candles on my birthday mallow-puffs. Di - I didn't try to hide the cheek puffing.
