Just another day in paradise. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Alright. i've avoided my blog because i'm ashamed to admit that i fell off the wagon a little bit with my diet. I fell off the wagon, and got run over by the horse. Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but i didn't lose any this week, and gained 0.6 of a pound. that might not seem like alot, but in reality, when i should have lost at least 2 pounds this week, i really (in my own mind, work with me here) gained 2.6 pounds. 1 cup rolled oats.

Just another day in paradise. Monday, April 23, 2012. Is it really april? How is it that i have not posted yet this year? Here's what's been keeping me away. J got a new job, and he's been working in PA since the beginning of march. Kudos to single moms everywhere. i don't know how you do it, and my hat is off to you. Just another day in paradise. Friday, February 25, 2011. Breakfast for supper. mmmm. there's nothing i like better. this little recipe comes from my university days, and while i was making it, it brought back alot of memories and fun times i had with the lovely lady i got it from. It's soo delicious, i had to share. First off, for the pancakes. 2 tbsp butter or marg. Mix all the ingredients well. pour into an ungreased 9x13 pan. bake at 400* for 20 min. In the oven, almost done. 1/2 cup butter or marg.

Just another day in paradise. Monday, May 23, 2011. The week we've been waiting for is finally here. this week we'll find out if this little critter that's been giving his or her mama a run for her money is a boy or girl. This pregnancy has been a very different one from my first. migraines, the "morning" sickness (which is some kind of cruel joke in my opinion) that lasted all day, and i'm still having trouble with it. the weird cravings, sandwiches, fruit and pickles. yes please! T his week, C and I had the week off for march break. we had a great week, filling our days with outings, visits and playdates. i'm sad to see the week over already!
