Thursday, March 12, 2009. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I have been wanting and needing to get on here and blog, but I don't think my life has stopped in a while - it has been hectic! Workers comp took sooooo long to release Eric that he lost the job he had at the post office on Monday morning, well we got released on Monday afternoon - pitiful! I not only feel like our life is falling apart, but our marriage too. We are really struggling right now too! Love ya girl and stay strong!

Thursday, January 15, 2009. My precious cute sweet loving baby girl has learned something new. We went to the neurosurgeon yesterday for Makennah's initial visit and she was being sooooo loud! I finally told her, "Sshhhh, Makennah, you need to use your inside voice." (Like she understood that - or so I thought). Then she looked at me with those big blue eyes with a ornry grin on her face and said, "ssshhhhhh! I tried to hard not to laught, but at that point I realized that we were in for it with her!

Monday, March 23, 2009. MANIC Monday with M&M. The things that describes today are.wow.shocked.crazy.disappointed! This will be surgery number 6 in her 17 months of life.this stinks for her! I am just so sad and I know that this will be an ongoing thing for the rest of her life, but I'm ready for her to go several years without needing a shunt revision done! She deserves a break! Please pray for Miss Prisse and her Mommy and Daddy! We hope for a quick recovery for her! Lori of I'm no super Mom.

Monday, December 29, 2008. Today my family and I ventured out to have a family birthday celebration for Ava. First stop was Red Lobster, the birthday girls choice. Then we went to Build-A-Bear because Ava and Kalli both had gift cards to spend. We had alot of fun! It was our first experience there and boy do I wish I would have thought of coming up with an idea like that. What a great place for kids to go. We finished the day off with a stop at Marble Slab for some birthday cake ice cream. Yummy!

I find out she had an ear infection and she got 4 shots including the first dose of her flu shot. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Ava's Rock Star Birthday. Ava will be turning three, tomorrow, December 29th. It is hard to believe! She is growing into such a little lady. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday in Rock Star style with cake, ice cream and a pink bounce house, which was every bit worth what it cost. I just want to list a few things about my little 3 year old that I love. I love that she loves to sing and is not afraid to express herself. I love that she gives her all in everything that she does.

Monday, September 28, 2009. Yes, I DID! I finished my first Half Marathon yesterday in Los Colinas. It was physically and mentally one of the most challenging things I have ever set out to do.but I can now check that off of my 2009 to-do list. WOO-HOO! Here is a little tid bit of how my day went. 4 am-jumped out of bed, got dressed, ate two slices of wheat toast w/ peanut butter. 4:35-left to meet my running partner at her house. 6:45-arrived at run location and picked up our bib numbers and chip timers.
