C and I went to a LIBRARIAN DANCE PARTY. Last weekend - and of course needed appropriate costumes! The shirt is a men's button down from the clothes-swap last week - i took in the cuffs and narrowed the shoulders, gathered the sleeves at the shoulder, removed the collar, and added lace to the cuffs and neck, to make it more frilly-uptight-librarian-styles. The skirt is made from a pair of wool pinstriped trousers that i found in the trash (along with half a dozen other sweet wool trousers!

Just wanted to share this peice that i made for. S birthday last week. a mixed media collage using entirely images from books and magazines i dumster-dove. the central image (botticelli's venus) is from that book les peints primitif. Ever since I came to Montreal, I have been searching for good pizza. Cheap pizza is fine, and I will eat when I have no other choice. But, what I am looking for is good quality pizza. You know, when you want to have a savoury pizza that doesn't taste like it is covered in plastic mozzarella. Yes, I am picky. Anyhoo, does anyone have a suggestion?
