https://morefromreallyrose.wordpress.com/2013/07/28/whats-growing-on

More from – Really Rose. What’s Growing On. July 28, 2013. What a treat to be able to pluck a sun-ripened tomato off the vine! Sun ripened on the vine. And the herbs, oh my. Oh so good, oh so convenient. I can’t begin to count the many wonderful grilling sauces and salad dressings we have enjoyed. This summer’s container gardening, absolutely a success! More from – Really Rose. April 3, 2012. Having observed this bird ourselves in the neighborhood, turns out, our bird of a different color is famous in our hood. On our walk home from the grocery store, we spied this 8″ X 10″ glossy displayed on the community bulletin board outside at Nelson’s Market. Our leucistic robin's photo displayed on neighborhood bulletin board. People, Places, Things. Newer post →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). More from – Really Rose. December 11, 2013. I absolutely LOVE making Christmas presents and this hat makes the perfect gift! This hat is for my son (oh, please don’t tell him his mother tried it on! The pattern is fun to work with. It knits up fast, has a great texture and is real stretchy. Used a wonderful wool yarn – less than one skein and maybe four hours knitting time. The making of a hat . . . Now I want one for myself, but alas, I plan on making one as a gift for my sweetie first! Really Rose &#82...

Small Space Container Gardening | More from - Really Rose

https://morefromreallyrose.wordpress.com/2013/06/06/small-space-container-gardening

More from – Really Rose. Small Space Container Gardening. June 6, 2013. Living in a top-floor condomenium with a lovely southern exposure, we are enjoying the coziness of the deck. Well on the way to making it feel like home, we have refinished a small table, found the perfect chairs, picked up a practically new barbeque grill for next to nothing (thanks to CraigsList! And started growing herbs, tomatoes and flowers in containers. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Newer post →. Enter your comment here.

I probably take more pictures than the average girl . . . Tuesday, June 28, 2011. What's Growing On - Berries and Blossoms. Looking over my entire garden, it appears a bit too unruley right now, so I'm taking on a more focused approach by searching for those little details that seem to stand out. The things that caught my eye today, strawberries ready to be picked. And, much to my surprise (really, more like delight! Early raspberries ready to be plucked from the vine too. Really Rose: May 2010

http://really-rose.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

I probably take more pictures than the average girl . . . Friday, May 28, 2010. A week ago I planted my German Pink Tomatoes. Meanwhile, at a local market I noticed a big rack of extremely healthy looking heirloom tomato plants marked at what seemed like an extremly low price. I could not resist. I purchased four of them and went straight to the Happy Valley Community Gardens and planted them in the last unplanted bed in my Garden Nbr. 02. I'll consider these our backup heirloom tomatoes. Standing on the...

I probably take more pictures than the average girl . . . Thursday, July 22, 2010. Tucked in the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Became my home away from home for the weekend. It was our annual Common Ground camping trip with 25 friends from Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties and more than 35 joining in for hiking and steak dinner on Saturday. What a fun group we had! We went to Nooksack Falls for some sightseeing. Then we hiked the Bagley Lake Trail. Links to this post. Thursday, July 8, 2010.

I probably take more pictures than the average girl . . . Monday, December 27, 2010. Shameful, Neglected Gardens. This is the embarrassingly shameful state of my Garden Number 02. Give me my rake and a sunny afternoon and I should have it cleaned up in a couple of hard working hours. Same with Garden Number 01. Shameful, neglected gardens! Links to this post. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Christmas Leg of Lamb. Slow cooked in the crock pot is how I fixed the boneless leg of lamb for our Christmas dinner.

I probably take more pictures than the average girl . . . Wednesday, April 27, 2011. No longer am I out of marmalade. Marmalade, a fruit preserve. Made from the juice and peel of citrus fruits. Is very easy and inexpensive to make at home yourself. I like to make mine from a combination of lemons and oranges, so I call it Citrus Marmalade. I won’t even begin to tell you how much has changed in my life since then. I don’t just mean events, jobs, or relationships. I mean mindset, experiences, and emotional changes. My life is taking an interesting turn. Whether for the better or the worst remains to be seen. I think rambling is allowed for your first blog post in 4 months. Till next time. A fine WordPress.com site. Yup I’m still here…. Hi Friends and Family! It’s been much too long since I’ve put pen to paper (or whatever the catchy phrase is these days). Back on October 8th I sat in the Hanoi airport in Vietnam, amidst yet another family crisis, and crafted the blog that appears below. It seems a shame not to share it, especially since I find I have more time on my hands than expected these days, and may just consider another post on the heels of this one. On October 8th I wrote….
