Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Thanks be to provisional cast on tutorial. I hate provisional cast on. I cannot ever remember how to do it, and (after looking it up and practicing several times) I still end up screwing up and ripping it out four or five times before finally getting it right. Provisional cast on has become a barrier between me and Little Birds. Because of the first line, "Using larger needle and MC, provisionally cast on 139 stitches. Forget it, I'll knit something else. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. I haven't forgotten about you. Winter break, sick children, housework, and general laziness have gotten in the way of my knitting. But I finally have something finished to share with you here. Another yoke sweater from Kate Davies. Is finished and being worn for the first time today. I'm so happy with it.
