The Voyage of the Beagle. Navigating a demon-haunted world. Unscientific America is not a bad. Book It’s certainly well-meaning, considering an important topic, and with a sometimes thoughtful discussion. The unfortunate part, however, is that large chunks of the book aren’t as well thought out as others – many of the examples given really do not support the thesis. The Voyage of the Beagle. Navigating a demon-haunted world. Moving the skeptics.se caveat banner. On the Skeptics Stack Exchange. Is to make the “rapidly changing” caveat on questions like this one. This will work either in Firefox (with Greasemonkey. For Safari, Trixie. For IE), but I haven’t tested with them. Makes all notices bold.

The Voyage of the Beagle. Navigating a demon-haunted world. Ministry of Stochastic Walks. Every time someone writes a post about random walks, I feel somewhat motivated to write a little program to generate a few (with adjustable parameters, of course). Anyway, Tamino’s recent discussion. Motivated me enough to write one. You can see, for example, the difference between a proper random walk:. And a walk that’s been bounded on one side. March 14, 2010 at 7:29 pm.
