The Division of Student Affairs. Smart Start First-year Goals for Transition and Retention. By the end of the 2nd semester, 100% of participants will attain a cumulative 2.75 gpa or better. By the end of the 2nd semester, 100% of participants will complete a minimum of 30 credits. By the end of the 2nd semester, 100% of participants will complete a plan of major certification. Be the end of each semester, 100% of participants will have their university account at zero. Smart Start Learning Standards.

Complete (2) counselor conferences with a SSP counselor each semester. Complete (1) academic advising session with a SSP counselor each semester. Completion of al 12 Financial Literacy (SALT) modules by February 15th, 2017. Complete all SSP progress reports in a timely fashion (weeks 3-6-9-12). Smart Start Program Student Referral.
