The Joys Of Two Boys. Thursday, August 13, 2009. I just can't believe you are one year old! I love you boys. Play together so well (games like "chase"). Love to eat and eat - almost all fruits and veggies (blueberries are your favorite! Prefer to feed yourselves instead of have mommy feed you with a spoon. Wear 12 month clothing. Wear size 4 shoes. Wear size 4 diapers. Weigh around 22 lbs. Think the best time of day is when Daddy comes home. Take 2 naps a day. Have learned what "no" means. Love to be rea...

The Joys Of Two Boys: A Habit Broken
http://thejoysoftwoboys.blogspot.com/2012/11/a-habit-broken.html
The Joys Of Two Boys. Friday, November 16, 2012. It has been a month now. One month since we started encouraging Benjamin to abandon his thumb sucking habit. I think I can officially say we have achieved success! I am so proud of him. He never put up a fight and was self motivated to do it. 1 Band-aid on the thumb. We are still doing this, just to help him remember during deep sleep. He asks me to put one on. Way to go, Benjamin! The last picture of me cuddling my "baby" with his thumb and blanket.).

The Joys Of Two Boys: Watching You Play
http://thejoysoftwoboys.blogspot.com/2012/10/watching-you-play.html
The Joys Of Two Boys. Monday, October 1, 2012. One thing I love about watching Benjamin and Joseph is the difference in how they approach different learning/play/creative activities. Today I pulled out this foam shape game that I got at a garage sale a while back. Hurray for inexpensive garage sale toys! It really is fun to watch them grow and develop in their own way! I do just love how different each child is! October 2, 2012 at 1:02 PM. October 2, 2012 at 1:30 PM. November 8, 2012 at 11:24 AM. I have ...

http://thejoysoftwoboys.blogspot.com/2013/08/at-five-years-old.html
The Joys Of Two Boys. Friday, August 2, 2013. At FIVE years old! Today, Benjamin and Joseph, you are 5 years old. This age has been so much fun! If it's possible, I think I love you even more than I did at 4. Boys, at FIVE. Fill my life with the kind of joy that is so deep it almost hurts sometimes! Watching you play, create, and learn is the best thing I get to do. Love all things Superhero or Star Wars. All about creature science). Ask a lot of "Whys? Have consistent and mutual imaginary friends. "...

The Joys Of Two Boys: At Six Years Old
http://thejoysoftwoboys.blogspot.com/2014/08/at-six-years-old.html
The Joys Of Two Boys. Saturday, August 9, 2014. At Six Years Old. Benjamin and Joseph, You Both . . . Find me and give me hugs every morning when you wake up. Usually go to bed between 8:30-9:00 and are up between 6:30-7:30. We have you take a short rest time in the afternoon, but you rarely sleep. That time is spent instead listening to Odyssey stories, "reading" through stacks of picture books, or playing a small game of "guys" (Batman, Star Wars, Lego guys, etc.) in your bed quietly. Were in T-ball th...

Hot MamaJama: October 2011
http://hotmamajama.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 14. DeWitt Ranch Pumpkin Patch Fun. I like the fall. Of course Friday didn't feel much like fall. It was very warm (might have reached 100). But it was the day my sister and Mom and I had all planned to go to do a fall activity! Dawson had a great time! We all did, but he seemed to just revel in the animals and hay and outdoors! Ella really enjoyed herself, despite the fact that we spent her entire nap time outside in the sun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Monday, March 18. In the last month we have already had some wonderful days that are just perfect for being outside! And we've been doing alot of stuff as a family! We went to a hockey game for the first time! We went to the Chili Cook-off for the first time! Ella is loving the Old-fashioned sarsaparilla! Gwen enjoyed riding Stumpy the tortoise after Wildman Phil's show. All the kids still love watching Uncle Phil do his animal shows. Even Gwen enjoys when we all go outside for some play time. Hot MamaJama: August 2011
http://hotmamajama.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 20. My time to reminisce about Dawson. No matter what I do, my children just keep getting older! I tell them they aren't allowed to. I don't give them big parties. Nothing works. :-0. I so vividly remember the first days with him in our family. Savannah and Hunter were thrilled to. Have a baby in our house. My little thumb sucker. He makes me want to pull my hair out most days.but it's that passion that makes me crazy about him too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Thursday, June 6. 7 month olds aren't supposed to be this mobile.are they? Gwen is 7 months old. And she has been learning things in leaps and bounds! She can crawl anywhere. She pulls herself up on chairs, people, couches.and then can walk along them. Now if we could just get her a tooth or two! Oh and speaking of which, she loves to eat, baby food AND real food. She loves to feed herself. She downed a banana muffin the other day in no time! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Hot MamaJama: Savannah Banana
http://hotmamajama.blogspot.com/2013/05/savannah-banana.html
Wednesday, May 15. Savannah wrote this as her first attempt at a character sketch:. My mother, the 4th born. She has beautiful, bright blue eyes. Her hair is a dirty blonde. She is a wonderful cook. Firm, but fair. She helps us when we need her. She kisses us goodnight. She's awesome and there could be no better mom. Just warmed my heart. :-). I can hardly believe that Savannah, my first born; my wonderful, thoughtful child, is leaving elementary school and entering the 6th grade! View my complete profile.
