My Life Exhibited: Musings and Mutterings. Sunday, April 24, 2011. A friend of mine mentioned today that she couldn't think of an Easter that wasn't a beautiful day. It seems like the earth and heavens all combine to rejoice on this day. Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Heated Blankets and Pink Tinsel. I was thinking about Idaho tonight. I know, that's unusual right? I mean, since I live here why shouldn't I occasionally think about the state? Sunday, October 17, 2010. Saturday, October 16, 2010. Snack time can b...

museum mama: October 2010

http://www.museummama.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

My Life Exhibited: Musings and Mutterings. Sunday, October 17, 2010. So does Jane; who decided that if I got to cut off my hair then she should be able to do it to. It took a couple of months for her to convince her mother that I was being controlling and I really had no right to determine the length of her hair. After all, as she reminded me, she wasn't doing anything wrong. By cutting it. And she was right. She looks fabulous! A little too grown up, but fabulous none the less! Saturday, October 16, 2010.

My Life Exhibited: Musings and Mutterings. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Its a Beautiful Day! It is super windy outside and I should be sleeping but frankly the wind is freakin' me out just a little bit so instead I thought I'd put fingers to keyboard (doesn't pen to paper sound so much better? And jot a little note about our fabulous weekend. Now I realize that this post may seem a bit like I'm gloating but I live in Idaho and sometimes I deserve to get out of here and have a little fun, right? Luke (again...

My Life Exhibited: Musings and Mutterings. Monday, July 12, 2010. A Doozie of a Day. At any rate, we made it to tennis. So as I sit here the nausea is finally subsiding and I'm really ready for this day to be finished but with my luck I'm not convinced that will happen very soon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Life Exhibited: Musings and Mutterings. Sunday, September 27, 2009. Our summer consisted mostly of this:. And a whole lot of that:. Saturday, September 26, 2009. The Sabbatical is Over. After my brief, but lingering, sabbatical. Its time to once again become fanatical. And resume my role as family record keeper,. Instead of lazy journal sleeper. So in that vein I commence to log. Our summer adventures on this family blog. So chilly was our day that we encountered this:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Redhoodoos: Creepy Crawlies

http://redhoodoos.blogspot.com/2010/05/creepy-crawlies.html

Family, faith, adventures and a Southern Utah Obsession. Monday, May 17, 2010. The females in my family are deathly afraid of spiders. Naturally, we were repulsed and horrified yesterday as we listened to someone relate his story of setting up a campsite at Zion National Park last summer and being swarmed by hundreds(! Of the creeping, disgusting things. Not a couple, a few, or even dozens - he said 'hundreds'. They stalk and prowl at night. The way they move is just.wrong. So - talking about spiders bro...

http://redhoodoos.blogspot.com/2008/04/money-drain-of-2007-2008.html

Family, faith, adventures and a Southern Utah Obsession. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Match the teeth with the teen. Let's play the "money drain of 2007-2008" game! Seriously. I don't know why my kids put up with some of the stuff I post on this blog. I know I would have died of embarrassment at their age. I think there are three reasons why they let me:. 1) They don't read my blog. 2) None of their friends read my blog. 3) I buy them things. Kids - if you read this - forgive me for what I'm about to do.

http://redhoodoos.blogspot.com/2008/06/bryce-canyon-and-capitol-reef.html

Family, faith, adventures and a Southern Utah Obsession. Saturday, June 7, 2008. Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. I'll try not to be too sappy - but can I just tell you how much I LOVE Southern Utah - Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, and Zion National Park in particular? When I first married Todd, he didn't understand my obsession for the Utah desert - slowly, through the years, he sees what it is that I'm drawn to and even likes it now when I drag him down there. Connor and I arrive...

Ms. Dana Elizabeth: December 2009

http://deccart.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 5, 2009. I am in the middle of a commision painting for a family member, sneak peak to come, but in the meantime: plastic bottle art! It started with the plastic waters bottles that he bought right before coming to Chile so the change in water and bacterias wouldn't upset a sensetive stomach. Then a plastic bottle or two started showing up at the dinner table filled with nectarine juice. The epidemic continued from there with a coca-cola. They can be saved! From that moment The Plastic.

Museum Mama | Parenting, Entertainment, Recipes, Gardening

Parenting, Entertainment, Recipes, Gardening. Or am I just lazy? I know my husband gets frustrated when I ask him to do the tiniest things I could do for myself, but I often just don’t want to do them. Is this a bi product of depression? I used to be pretty self sufficient and hate asking for help. Now I’m just somebody that I used to know. Mama Guilt Just Never Goes Away. Doing laundry, relaxing, watching the Bruce Jenner interview. But what’s that lingering feeling back there? Yay motherhood, right?

Making Art History Museums Matter. Sunday, October 9, 2016. Mac referred to himself as a "dinosaur" because he was a relic of a time when art history was examined through a philosophical lens that married aesthetics and history. He loved that I was utterly unable to separate art from the context in which it occurred. He, like his own professor, Erwin Panofsky, loved iconography and the meanings behind everything.
