Music Director - Yip Chun Kit. Yip Chun-Kit was born in Hong Kong. He began to study the trombone at age 16, under the direction of Mr. Pak Wing-Heng at the Hong Kong Music Office. While a student of the Music Office, Yip was the Principal trombone of the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra (YSO) and the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band (YSB). He was touring with YSB to Korean for promoting Hong Kong in 2001.

樂聚 管樂 於 2008 年 9 月在香港成立，由於近年坊間 成立的管樂團的招募對象多為學校舊生及較年輕的樂手，以致很多沒有類似背景、而又較成熟的樂手，難以找到一隊適合自己的樂團，得以發展音樂興趣。 有見及此， 樂聚 管樂 期望能為這些來自不同背景的樂手，提供一個開放及獨立的音樂平台，讓一班音樂愛好者聚首一堂，愉快地享受管樂合奏，並一同在音樂路上成長。 此外， 樂聚 管樂 於 2009 年 2 月與新加坡理工高中管樂團舉辦交流活動，讓兩地樂手互相交流切磋，並於 香港管樂繽紛 2009 演出成功。 同年 12 月， 樂聚 管樂 成功舉辦首演音樂會，成績斐然，廣獲好評。 樂團隨後於 2010 年 6 月成功舉辦音樂會，又於 2011 年 1 月舉辦週年音樂會，觀眾反應熱烈。 樂團亦於 香港國際管樂繽紛 2011 演出成功。 樂團於 2011 年 11 月舉辦的週年音樂會中，邀請了 十一分音符手鈴隊 同台演出，表現卓越，廣受一眾音樂愛好者歡迎。 樂聚 管樂 的第一個 樂 意指快樂，第二個 樂 則指音樂。
