How on earth did we end up here? When we were planning our first holiday together (back in 2001), we were looking for something really special. The only criteria we had were that it should be warm, relaxing, accessible but above all different. Try pitching this to the average travel agent most of whom seemed to be under 20 and whose experience of foreign travel appeared to be a weekend in Llandudno! Is about 20 km from Marmaris but, in terms of atmosphere, could well be on another planet!
