A Year in Nairobi. Sunday, 5 February 2012. On January 29th Steve and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. In honor of the occasion, I thought I'd post a few of our favorite photos and memories from our wedding day. Just before the ceremony, Steve and I had a moment alone (well, just us and the photographers) to see each other before all the guests arrived. It was really nice to have a few quiet minutes together, to take some deep breaths, and to talk about my dress, of course! Steve and his boys.

Baby #2: 30 weeks. May 16, 2014. Supposedly I gained 6 pounds in 2 weeks. That’s all I’m going to say about that. Yes, yes, and yes. Sleeping okay. I turned our mattress last weekend, so I think that’s helping me sleep a little better. It’s like a new bed! Best moment this week:. Mother’s Day last weekend! Nolan (and David) got me a heart charm with an “H” engraved on it to add to the bracelet I got last Mother’s Day. And Hayden’s nursery fabric came in. YAY! Sweets, fresh fruit, and all things unhealthy.

The group assisted in construction activities at a building to be used by the synod to support. Its many programs for the orphans and poor of the Nairobi area.
