Hadn’t kept abreast of the Discussion Board and, yesterday when I was going over it, I realized that I hadn’t done the requirements of Module Five. Net11 Learning Log: Little Miss Contradiction
http://fiona-net11learninglog.blogspot.com/2008/08/little-miss-condradiction.html
Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Oh, typical of me really. I have just posted and read back my first "future shock" post. I guess I will have egg on my face. All of the predictions I thought more on the ridiculous side if looked at from a literal point of view can kind of be meshed in with the whole " cyber. I just read the quotes and took it from a complete physical realistic sense, and well, lets face it there isn't going to be a medium provided. By the Internet that will allow time travel will there?

Net11 Learning Log: Future Shock
http://fiona-net11learninglog.blogspot.com/2008/08/future-shock.html
Tuesday, August 12, 2008. I just came across this podcast. Of an interview with Dr Vint Cerf. It is quite good, and he has a sense of humour which I liked. It accompanies a blog. That I stumbled across that the interviewer (Tom Raftery) keeps and he has logged his questions and the minutes as they occur so you can navigate through it if you want to. On further investigation I noticed a few other interesting podcasts including a weblog one which I might listen to next. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thoughts and progress in Net 11. Concepts reflection and research project. Module four tasks →. August 17, 2008. This was my first assignment for quite a few years, so I probably should have allowed a little more writing time. I did a lot of reading to prepare myself, and didn’t think I’d need as much time to write as I did. In the end, I submitted it a day late which I was really disappointed about. Despite the stress (! View my complete profile. Monday, August 25, 2008. Here we are provided with a few readings discussing "information ecology" and are asked to reflect on the following questions regarding the metaphor of the "ecology":. How might the metaphor of an ‘ecology’ impact on the way you think about, understand or use the Internet? How are the concepts ‘information’ and ‘communication’ understood within the framework of an ‘information ecology’? Why don’t we talk of a ‘communication ecology’?
