Thursday, April 29, 2010. Screaming babies are not fun! Riehl is now (today 4/29/10) 7 weeks old, but man when he hit 6 weeks, we were in trouble. We could not seem to soothe Riehl. If he wasn't asleep or eating, he was screaming or fussing. We felt so bad that we couldn't help the poor little guy. Sadly, we were both at our wits-end (Is that how you spell it? Thursday, July 29, 2010. I totally forgot to mention that Riehl got to go to the 4-H fair! My old stomping grounds! HE absolutely LOVED it. The lights, animals, and people.it was great and I am so happy that he was able to go with both mom and dad. He did decide to BLOWOUT his diaper and pants.we had to change him on the ground. awesome job son! Here are a few pics (no pants and if you look close, poop on the rim of the onsie). Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Back to the grind. Yesterday I had to go back to work.thankfully (in an odd round about way) I am only a .7, meaning that I work only 3 1/2 days. I worked it out so that I have Fridays off and for the remaining half day I go in an hour late everyday. Kind of nice! I guess he did just fine and LOVED watching and playing with the other kids. We had a weird feeling that he was going to be a social butterfly:) Sunny adores him and he seemed to like it! Posted by The Hilliard's.

Monday, May 24, 2010. Sick, Sick, Sick.we ALL have been sick! First, I noticed that Riehl has a little cough, but it was so minor. Next, Jason said he didn't feel well and soon he was really sick. All of a sudden Riehl's minor cough turned into a barky nasty cough. I think I even said, "My immune system is strong from working with kids, that's why I don't have it". Sure enough, I got it! Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Happy 2 months riehl. WOW, this month has really flown. I swear your dad and I fall more in love with you each and every day. I knew it was possible to love someone like crazy (your dad) but to love someone so quickly.Just know that we love you so much and we always will. We are so thankful to have such a happy and healthy baby. You rock our world little man. You are developing so well! I know you can't wait for all the play-dates with our new friend Emerson. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Today my poor little baby boy had to get his 2 month shots:( It was very sad to see him so upset, but the sadness only lasted a few minutes and then he was all better. He's sleeping right now and let's just hope it stays that way! He weighed in at 11lbs. 14 oz. which was like the 60 something percentile. His head was 15in. and they never said his length, just that he was in the 90 something percentile! Nice job there Riehl! He's growing like a weed and developing just right. Happy ...

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Oh my, 5 months. This one will be short! I'm hoping)This month was spent here in good ole' Colorado! This summer has been REALLY hot which you really don't like. Thanks to the Chilly Pad from Frogg Toggs I am able to take you outside. We've been taking advantage of that! This month has been crazy! You were a little sick then mommy got strep throat.
