Spring Flowers | Crafty Crow's Craft Corner

Crafty Crow's Craft Corner. May 2, 2011 · 12:17 pm. As it was Bealltain/May Day yesterday, today’s craft activity was to make spring flowers to hang on our former Easter Tree. These are simple and could be used to stick on cards, decorate boxes, or hang from just about anywhere. First create a template of a flower of sufficient size that the egg box centre is about the right size. This one was based on a wild rose but anything suitably floral is fine. Draw around it and cut out. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

If we do any more I will take more shots of the process. The basic idea is pretty simple, though, and can be extended from t-shirts to other items of clothing and even to bags and for patches. Crafty Crow's Craft Corner. Spring Flowers →. April 20, 2011 · 11:05 am. To be honest, we are not so big on the Christian side of Easter but do have a fondness for hares, daffodils and chocolate eggs. So, in the spirit of spring, we decided to make a decorative tree for the Easter hare to put his eggs under. Cardboard egg and hare templates. Stuff for decoration – glitter, metallic stars, ribbon, crepe paper etc. A large tree branch. Draw around the templates with a pencil onto some coloured card. You ar...

Crafty Crow's Craft Corner. Newer posts →. February 23, 2011 · 11:54 am. This is something I learnt how to make at a Steiner pre-school activity group. I used to go with my eldest daughter when she was two or three and today made one with her youngest sister, now five. A friend suggested it would make a good cat toy and this is probably true. Two beads – one large, one small. Some embroidery thread or wool. 4 Keep adding the fabric squares so that the caterpillar begins to grow…. Newer posts →.

Crafty Crow's Craft Corner. Easter Tree →. March 8, 2011 · 2:30 pm. These are from a recipe in the wonderful Tassajara Bread Book. And my kids love them. My mother and eldest daughter’s tutor love them too and I must admit I can eat a fair few at one sitting. 2 oz (50 g) butter/margarine. 4 oz (100 g) raisins. 6 oz (150 g) soft sugar. A small person with a spoon. For the filling, weigh the sugar, butter, raisins and cinnamon and place into a bowl. Mix with a spoon. Then roll it up like a carpet. This rec...
