Im a festival, Im a parade. This is who I really am. Aug 10th, 2011 at 12:17 AM. Okay, so, it's been over a year. Last summer the principal of my daughters' school called to see if I'd be interested in working part time as an Educational Assistant. As I wasn't doing anything else of much importance and was dreading the long, lonely, silent winter ahead, I agreed. It was good for me and bad for me. I ended up mostly being a lunch room and recess teacher, a glorified babysitter. I saw what you did there!

Im a festival, Im a parade. Feb 14th, 2006. These sweet potatoes will own you. Plus they're stupid easy to make. 2-4 sweet potatoes (peel them or not, your choice). Rosemary leaves (1 TBSP dried). Fresh Ground Black Pepper. I don't usually even like sweet potatoes, having been exposed every Thanksgiving to the bad casserole with the marshmallows melted over top. Not to see any actual dead relatives or anything, just to stop and see the places I spent lots of time smoking and thinking. CB's cemeteries are all up in the hills so it makes for a lovely view and you're not likely to be disturbed by family picnics or other wholesome activities going on. The oral final for Spanish was the part I was most worried about but as it turns out, the algebra final was the one I should have been paying more attention to. It didn't cover those hard chapters that I studied like mad for: no, it was mostly over the first half of the book. Bastards. There was some blind eenie-meenie-meinie-moe going on that I regret.
