Trees - A Flutter of Butterfly Wings
http://baavgai.livejournal.com/135926.html
November 12th, 2012. 09:49 am - Trees. The fog is thick this morning. You can only see about a block before the world fades to mist. Sounds are distorted and the usual animal cacophony is muted. In the wake of a hurricane, local perceptions have been altered. Prior to its assault, trees were seen as a joyful thing. Beautiful, lush, colorful, offering protection from the elements, homes hosted trees with pride. That has changed. Trees are now the enemy within. Where once their closeness brought comfor...

http://picperfics.blogspot.com/2010/09/i-knit-weekender.html
Monday, September 06, 2010. Whose idea was this exactly? 160; When it was suggested, I agreed, it did sound like a good idea, and now I am almost ready to roll I agree again, it is a good idea, but oh my, the work that has gone on to get me to this stage has been immense! For workroom read anywhere in the house that has a space, sorry honey…will all be back to normal soon. I used DK/Sport weight yarn and 4mm needles to knit the smallest size and got this cutie. All from 100g of yarn with a bit left over!

hiawatha loom questions...: loom_knitters
http://loom-knitters.livejournal.com/59774.html
Something bluesy on the radio. Not sure if anyone can help. Being a 'knifty-knitter', i was drawn to this little gadget i found at my local thrift store, unsure what it was exactly, but very intrigued all-the-same:. Mine is the 60's blue color, has the bottom lid, these little gadgets have 4 rows of removable pegs, and mine has *all* the pegs, which is very rare, i have discovered. Anyone have any suggestions? The Boule Character Toy is finished: loom_knitters
http://loom-knitters.livejournal.com/60089.html
The Boule Character Toy is finished. Named The Boule because his body is based on a ball and "Ouvrier" which means Handyman in French and is also the word Harvey calls the Hoover :). 30 inches tall made exclusively in stocking stitch ( stockinette for our US friends ) on a 1/2 inch in gauge knitting loom. I feel so proud and Harvey loves him which is the main thing. Boule can hold things in his hands too like any of his tools, pencil or notepad, stands with the help of his hanging loop or sits unaided.
