becka lippy: November 2012
http://heartoflippy.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Capturing the moment with Jesus, one day at a time. Sunday, November 25, 2012. I assumed that as I got older, it would be easier to make decisions. But like so many other things in life, I was wrong. Life really only gets more complicated as we get older. More relationships to consider. More factors to come into play. More risks to be taken. But it's gotten to the point of collapse in my life. I have too many things going on. Attention demanded in too many places. The biggest, most immediate need. Of cou...

http://heartoflippy.blogspot.com/2013/04/moving.html
Capturing the moment with Jesus, one day at a time. Thursday, April 25, 2013. Today is a big day. Today is the day that I will be handed the keys to my new apartment! Actually, its an old apartment. A beautiful old apartment. High ceilings, hard word floors, and french doors that lead out onto the quiet street. And best of all, its a full 2 minute walk to my favorite street in Santiago, Lastarria. But then I did. What are you doing here? And How long are you staying? So here you go Chile! Congrats on own...

Capturing the moment with Jesus, one day at a time. Monday, August 26, 2013. That same old roller coaster. Strange. Glad to be struggling? That's not a lesson I would easily give up. Why am I writing all this? Maybe I'm wrong and my heart will remain firm in it's place of being content. But if I'm not, and the roller coaster is coming to a steep decline, all I can say is, hold on tight and enjoy the ride! Sunday, August 18, 2013. Iglesia Santiago Apostol (assorted photos). Even Max, who is a long termer ...

becka lippy: Second Semester Dreaming
http://heartoflippy.blogspot.com/2013/09/second-semester-dreaming.html
Capturing the moment with Jesus, one day at a time. Friday, September 27, 2013. I still have moments of amazement that I live here in Chile. Who would have known that this california girl would find her home in a country so far away from her own? Games I love it. One of the downsides to having such taxing jobs is that I tend to not have much of a non-church related social life. If I have "free time", it tends to be used to catch up with women in the church. Then the owner told me about a monthly latte ar...

From Here on Out: An Examined Life
http://from10onout.blogspot.com/2013/06/an-examined-life.html
From Here on Out. Thursday, June 27, 2013. Proverbs 14:8&15 both lay out the importance of the process of giving thought to our life being part of wisdom. These verses speak to me of slowing down, taking pause and doing some self-examination. It is so easy to hurtle through life at great speed and it follows, then, that we can miss important truths the faster we are going. A pastor at my church. That is a rallying call to give thought to our ways. What is important? Where are we headed?

New Life Glenside Journal. Essays and Notes from the Pastors of New Life Glenside and various guest contributors. May 12, 2015. An essay by Marc Davis. Our church has a long history of taking seriously our role in protecting children who participate in our Children’s and Youth Ministries. We consider it a joy to welcome children from infancy onward as a part of our church family, and to share with parents the obligation and privilege to instruct boys and girls in Christ. We would like still to maintain a...
