Munich goes Chicago: Yes I am
http://munichgoeschicago.blogspot.com/2007/05/yes-i-am.html
Chronicles of a rotation in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospital. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Still alive and kicking. But like I said, my experience with him was brief. Yes, intubated and all! There are two things you shoul...

Munich goes Chicago: Case report
http://munichgoeschicago.blogspot.com/2007/05/case-report.html
Chronicles of a rotation in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospital. Friday, May 18, 2007. The very first patient I had seen in this hospital - the one Jen sent me to see the morning of my very first day here - has just been presented to the residents in morning report. The 50.000 IU of vitamin D per day for months. The attending overseeing the presentation shook his head in the end and said this is something you will hardly ever see. Today, we started rounding at 11:30am and they're still at it right now. While we were ...

Chronicles of a rotation in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospital. Saturday, April 7, 2007. A look back at the past week. I think it is time to stop giving you exact reports of what I've been doing on an hourly basis. It's way too much for me to write and I'm sure it has been way too much for you to read for a while now. Instead, and as I have been prompted to do so by one of the people sending us here, I will try and summarize my impressions of this past week. Was it as expected? In ot...
