In February 2013, I traveled with 15 other Concordia students on a sustainability leadership trip to Portland, OR. When we returned, we held a presentation for the campus community to explain what we learned and I created this documentary for the presentation. During my senior year at Concordia, I took a class called Video Production I. I gained experience with Final Cut Pro editing software and Sony video camera equipment, and plunged into my creativity tank to capture stories via video. My New Girl Life.

I’ve been collecting stories for as long as I can remember. At eight, I remember my parents having to wrangle me in from asking the mayor of our little town why he was wearing a Mickey Mouse polo to church. At 12, I conducted an interview of everyone in my fifth grade class (all 24 of them) so I could write “student of the week” profiles for the newsletter I wanted to send home with all of them. The next year, I edited and designed the news section. Published my essays along side his amazing artwork here.

The Best Tracks of the Year: 2014. End of the year lists make me excited. Lists always have. In middle and high school I’d have a color-coded list for every thing. I remember, once, my dad asking me “Steph, don’t you think you’d get a lot more done if you spent less time making lists and more time doing what’s supposed to go on them? Touché, Dad. But where music round-ups are concerned, I adamantly disagree. Spending time curating this list of 14 favorite tracks of 2014 is nothing. Is Your Love Big Enough.

The Journey - Digital Banjara. Mar 23, 2015. Posted by Digital Banjara. Three friends met at the bottom of a mountain, to trek up a path to its summit and meet the wise old man, who resided there. They had all heard that he held the answer to everlasting happiness and peace. It was a long walk and it took them the entire day to complete. By then the wise man had returned. After setting out food for the trio, he turned to them and said,. What brings you here? We want to know how we can find true happiness’.
