So, I rebooted myself and moved to southern Spain where my nephew Patrick and I plan to start a fabulous B&B. I studied as a mature student in London where I was born, I spent over a decade living in rural north Devon which was an inspiration for many paintings. Colour has a special importance for me, which I use to portray atmosphere and emotion, from the wild Atlantic Ocean crashing on the coast of Devon, to the calm of a rural scene or the portrait of one of my family. I paint purely for pleasure these days mostly on a small scale designing greetings cards.
