How We Do It. Since 1990, North Olympic Land Trust has permanently protected over 3,200 acres. This has been accomplished primarily through 89 conservation easements with willing landowner partners. In some instances, North Olympic Land Trust will purchase lands. Land Trust-owned properties that are easily accessible by the public include:. Elk Creek Conservation Area. Dan Lieberman and Friends recorded a new Mountain Music song called "20 Million Reasons" that accompanied the procession. This is an interactive song celebrating any and all species on Planet Earth.
