Not Missing a Thing! Allergy Friendly Cooking: Our Story
http://notmissingathing.blogspot.com/p/our-story.html
Shop My Amazon Store. Now what, I wondered? I had wanted a definitive answer to this food allergy question. Now I had it! But it was much more extensive than I had prepared myself for. As we drove home from that appointment, my husband turned his head to me and asked, "what are we going to have for dinner? I had planned on pizza! Can't we just serve the pizza and figure it out tomorrow", I asked. After all, we didn't know yesterday so what's the difference if we feed these foods to her one more day?
Not Missing a Thing! Allergy Friendly Cooking: Dairy-Free Mint Chip Ice Cream {gluten and egg-free, too}
http://notmissingathing.blogspot.com/2012/07/mint-chip-ice-cream-gluten-dairy-and.html
Shop My Amazon Store. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Dairy-Free Mint Chip Ice Cream {gluten and egg-free, too}. This hot weather has inspired me to play with my ice cream maker. And the results have been fun and yummy! Plus, our grocery store seems to have stopped carrying dairy-free ice cream (sad, but true! So homemade it is. Last summer I made some soy-based ice cream and, while it was pretty good, I didn't love how the soy flavor tainted the ice cream flavor. You know what I'm talking about. 2 (135 oz) ca...

http://notmissingathing.blogspot.com/2012/07/tuna-cakes-gluten-dairy-and-egg-free.html
Shop My Amazon Store. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Tuna Cakes {gluten, dairy and egg-free}. While pondering what to make on these hot summer days, I conjured up the idea of tuna cakes. You know, like crab cakes- only with tuna. I realize this is not an original idea, but my family all enjoyed my allergy-friendly version so I'm sharing it with you. This recipe made 12 medium-sized patties which was enough for my family of 5 plus a few left over. Gluten, dairy and egg-free}. 24 oz (2- 12 oz cans) tuna.

Cooking for my family. Monday, June 10, 2013. Menu Plan Monday 6/10/13. So, the gluten eating I mentioned in my last post, yeah, that didn't go so well. Denial and all that, so we are back to gluten-free after almost a year of eating gluten. I have been gluten-free again for four days, and I am hoping to start feeling better very soon. I love how Kaylynn has not stopped staring at the balloons. At least Micah turned around! This was Micah’s birthday present…he was terrified of it! From the Trenches of Adoption.

Yes, you need to pick it up. But try to avoid using those little yellow doggie bags that are hanging on every public bin. I know they’re easy to tie around the dog lead or stash in your handbag ready to be used, but consider how quickly dog shit actually breaks down in nature on its own very, very quickly! I invested in some “Toothy Tabs” from Lush (Lush is literally your best friend if you’re trying to live plastic free), and they’re not too bad! Well, it was bound to happen. I haven’t really had ...
