An American Housewife Down Under: 28 weeks and still no name
http://housewifedownunder.blogspot.com/2007/01/28-weeks-and-still-no-name.html
An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Tuesday, January 09, 2007. 28 weeks and still no name. Maybe this baby shouldn't be born. It will have to go though life with the moniker of "baby" it's whole life. Poor wee mite. Neither Brendon or I can come up with a name we like. In fact, there seems to be no motivation or inspiration to even find one. It's like we ran out of names after Aidan. I think he watched way too much tv as a kid.

An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Here come the words. Aidan is 20-months-old: Week 3 and according to Baby Center. Much of the groundwork for language acquisition has been laid, and now my toddler will focus on boosting his vocabulary. The average 20-month-old can learn 10 or more words a day (some learn a new word every 90 minutes).". Animals sounds: moo, meow, woof, baa, horse. On Christmas Eve afte...

An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Friday, January 26, 2007. Fisher-Price, we have a problem! Neither one of my children are really "attached" to a lovey item. I've tried to get them so it was easier for bedtime but no real luck. Now Aidan has decided that he wants Sammy at bedtime and the fighting is pretty intense! I sent Mom on a hunting expedition to Wal-mart to see if she could find another one. No such luck. She did ...I kno...

An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Friday, June 30, 2006. The Boy's 1st Shiner. My son is an over-achiever, it only took 14 months for him to get that nice black eye. How did it get it? My son the neighborhood bully? No (do not rule this out for future accidents he is mine after all). He decided to try once again to eat the cats tail and he lost. Aidan learns things the hard way. This little guy is just covered in bruises! Yesterd...

An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Since the family has been sick Madelynn is really missing her friends. She's not had playmates over for about a month. Yesterday I babysat Madelynn's 3 year old twin playmates, Tineke (pronounced Tee-nee-ka) and Oliver. Not only are they good fun for Madelynn and Aidan, but because I do it, we get free video rentals because their parents own the local video store.

An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Monday, November 20, 2006. It's Christmas time.Kiwi Style. What really gets me though is how hard it is to find New Zealand Christmas stuff. I mean one would expect to find it rather easy to find Christmas cards in a summery style. WRONG! I just don't get it. You won't find a lick of snow in December and everyone is running around in shorts, swimsuits and thongs. So why does New Zealand c...Chris...

So here we are coming up on 8 weeks this Wednesday since we first got sick as a family. The Gill's are on the Road to Wellville. (hopefully). 8 weeks of miserable kids, adults and one fat cat. An American Housewife Down Under. The trials, tribulations and rantings of an American living in New Zealand. Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Tag, I think I'm it? I'm a bit slow on this tagging thing. I had to figure out that Christi meant for me to do it, heck with this baby brain at the moment I could still be wrong and she didn't mean for me to do it at all. If that's the case, oops! 1Things that scare me:. My kids getting lost, hurt or abducted. Missing an episode of The West Wing. Governments- NZ and US.
