Musings of a military housewife. I'm done and i'm still alive, and i only had one bloody pinky toe blister! After twelve weeks of intense training, my marathon goal is complete. i ran my first marathon this past sunday, and kept a few goals within the race. i didn't walk, and i finished between a time of five and half hours or under. here's where i'll take you through a "quick" run through (no pun intended) of my 26.2 mile journey. Musings of a military housewife. The Bomber and I saw a segment on good morning america about these buffalo wing cupcakes. Crazy kind of cupcakes that were newest thing this superbowl season. The Bomber gave me a pretty please kind of look, and off to the kitchen I went. They were not appealing to me, but knew that the guys of the party would more than likely enjoy them. . The Bomber said he liked them, and they were a perfect combination of spicy, blue cheese, with a sweet sugar taste. I was a hamster.

Musings of a military housewife. Friday nights = family movie nights :). Just another lazy sunday afternoon. Daddy and his baby girl. With piston deploying in the next few days, we've tried to slow down time and spend as much "family time" as we can. somehow, piston's work seems to creep it's way in, but we're all pretty adaptable whenever that occurs. Both miles and courtney have loved having daddy home, even when he has to go into work on his "week off". True military kids in the making.
