BOOKS - Just finished reading "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen. Whirlwind story of a circus vet. I'm not much of a circus person due to my fear of clowns (I don't trust people with too much make-up on - they have something to hide.). Some people like to visit loved-ones who have passed at the grave site, but that doesn't quite work for me since I don't live in NY anymore. Instead I visit the zoo. My dad was my first art teacher. The first lesson was drawing cartoon animals (Snoopy and Mickey Mouse). He shared his love of reading with me. My dad taught me to build and fix things. Love you, Lady. :).

Once the stay-at-home mom guilt stopped and I started feeling good that I could play and multi-task with two kids I wrote Mother in that Occupation box. As my pen hovered over the paperwork last week with Trophy Husband sitting next to me he said, write homemaker. So I wrote down homemaker but in my head I heard a little voice that said, Eww, I'm not a 1950s housewife! Posted at 07:42 pm.

Ohhh ahhhh, five things that made me smile today. 1 My nephew bringing his own chocolate cake for MPK for his birthday bedause he HAS to be there when the song is sung, the candles are blown out and the slices are passed around. 2 When I was on the way to work and I saw a dog jogging down the street on his own and he clearly had places to go and people to see.
