Lawrence - One Heart Foundation

When I grow up I want to be a A Pilot. Lawrence is 14 years old and was among the first group of the kids who were taken in to our first One Heart home in 2009, and is the oldest of three siblings in his family. When Lawrence first came to the home he had many behavioural issues. He was disrespectful and had a temper, he would never smile and was angry at everyone around him. After being in the One Heart home for a few years he is now one of our happiest kids with the biggest smile! Back to Kids page.

One Heart continues to grow as we look to reach more children. Children’s Homes, Kapsoya. The original One Heart homes are located in a town called Kapsoya. Here we care for 50 children in two homes. There is also a 1.5 acre farm which produces food for the homes. Children’s Village, Turbo. The new One Heart Village is in a town called Turbo on the edge of a river. Construction of further classrooms. Now that we have opened our One Heart school we need to push forward with expansion so that our students will have classrooms to move into when they move up a year level at the end of each year. We will be expanding and building extra classrooms over the next year so that we will be prepared and ready for the growth of our school in the years to come.
