The Roberts Family: August 2009
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 22, 2009. As you can tell from my post about the girls' dance recital. Over Christmas Break had a lasting impression on them (at least it did on Isabel.Ashlen always wants to do whatever her big sister is doing). As much as I will miss the dance recital this year, and as much as I can't stand sitting in the bleachers of a winter-like setting (I HATE winter), I must admit that it is pretty cute to watch them skating! Here they are at their first lesson:. Tuesday, August 18, 2009.

The Roberts Family: April 2010
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. The girls started taking tumbling in the fall and they LOVE it! They have taken a few tumbling sessions in the past, but this year they have really started taking it seriously because they want to be able to do the 'cool tricks'. Isabel looks more like a slinky than a girl most days.she is very bendy in the middle! She is pumping herself up for the big bend! Gotta kick off the shoes (another story for another time):. But, she is not done yet.she wants to try for the kick-over:.

The Roberts Family: I Smell Bacon!!!
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2011/02/i-smell-bacon.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. Ashlen loves to read and has recently started to write her own 'books'. She writes stories (using her kindergarten spelling, which I love) about all kinds of random things. As I was picking up around the house, I happened to come across her latest 'novel'. The cover struck me as funny! A guy who refuses to be within a mile radius of a doughnut while in uniform will find this funny, right? This is so cute! I cannot wait until I find novels in my home. The Roberts Family: Winter Storm!!!
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2011/02/winter-storm.html
Wednesday, February 2, 2011. You know the saying 'God only gives us as much we can handle'? As we are all aware, the storm did hit and we did get the snow day. I got all caught up with work. Then, the second snow day. I got some much needed time to relax. Now, the third snow day is upon us. I think I will use this one to get AHEAD of my work because you just never know what is around the corner! Here are a few pictures from our snowstorm:. Ashlen and her friend in front of one of the snow drifts. Don't g...

The Roberts Family: May 2010
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 31, 2010. Random Peeks from April. I love my job very much, but the end of the year gets a little stressful. Between trying to teach kiddos that would rather be out in the sun, creating the school's yearbook, organizing the Talent Show, tutoring, and planning the end of the year activities for the Student Council, I barely find enough time to breathe! But, I love it all and that last burst of craziness at the end of the year helps me to appreciate summer break that much more! Isabel got a sci...

Saturday, February 27, 2010. Here are the girls before school on the day of their Valentine's parties.Isabel has been making hearts with her hands ever since she saw the idea in an album of my maternity photographs from my pregnancy with her. Ashlen is still learning this trick. Yes, I know that Valentine's Day was weeks ago, but I have kept a file of the pictures on the desktop of my computer to remind me to post them as soon as I got a chance, so here they are, finally! Later that day, I went to Alexan...

The Roberts Family: September 2010
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 12, 2010. It's a Beautiful Day for Orange. Today our family participated in the MS Walk in Peoria. It was very special for so many reasons. First, it was the perfect day for a 3 mile stroll down one of Peoria's most beautiful streets with lots of good friends! Friday, September 3, 2010. So, I must admit that this has been at the bottom of my priority list lately.I think it is much more fun to read blogs than to write them sometimes! Then, Ashlen celebrated her fifth birthday! Here she i...

The Roberts Family: Blessed...
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2011/01/blessed.html
Saturday, January 8, 2011. He got very stern and pointed at the girls and said "No. No, you can't think this is just luck. They are a true blessing." I will say that I didn't mind the crowd or the line so much after that. Thanks to this kind man's shared perception, I feel so. To report that we have all remained healthy over the cold and flu season (so far.knock on wood! And that we had a wonderful holiday season! Here she shows the world that Native Americans and Pilgrims really can be friends:. The day...
