Bumps in the Road. Friday, June 24, 2011. Yesterday I met with the neurologist. He suggested the next step should be a spinal tap. He did see some very small, very faint white spots on my brain on the MRI, which could be a start of MS. I know I have to do the spinal tap - but I am so scared! I am so scared for the pain of it!

Create. Bake. Inspire. Wednesday, May 19, 2010. This past Saturday I completed my first official running event - the Cellcom Green Bay Mini-Marathon. It was a whopping 2.62 miles! I tried to not get too nervous about the whole thing because I didn't want to be disappointed if I fell short. I only knew my goal was to finish in less than 30 minutes. Boy was I surprised when I crossed the finish line in 25:55! I never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but here goes. I. Like. Running.

I'll admit that his discharge happened a little rapidly, but it sure is nice having him home. Although now I'm trying to stay on top of his medications for the next week as we begin our transition to the next phase of living with blood clots. There have been at least a dozen babies who have entered my world through various friends and family members. In fact, in just the last three days there have been three new babies and an adoption!
