The Kreston Chronicles: Gorge-ous
http://krestonchronicles.blogspot.com/2012/10/gorge-ous.html
Preston had last week off from work, which, naturally, meant that he became deathly ill with the flu. We had planned a daytrip to the Columbia River Gorge, just about an hour outside Portland, but when Preston got sick we weren't sure it was going to happen. After Bridal Veil Falls, we headed for Multnomah Falls, stopping along the way to hit up Wahkeena Falls, just about 1/4 mile away. Bryce enjoyed giving us little heart attacks by heading for the water like nobody's business. A Little Bit About Us.

Sunday, April 14, 2013. Our whirlwind weekend started out with a bright and early drive from Logan on Friday morning for Dan's brother, Chris', wedding. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Reverse PR: A How To. So, you’ve run at least one previous marathon and want to know “How can I run a marathon again and get a reverse PR (that is, run actually slower than your current best time)? Well, lucky for you I was able to accomplish this highly laudable feat this weekend and I’m ready to share my cornucopia of knowledge so that you can do it to. Ready? Hello, I'm Otto. I'm here to make sure you never get a quiet nights rest.". LAY OUT YOUR GEAR:. Get to your parents ...

Bringing Up Bradshaws: December 2014
http://bringingupbradshaws.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Arnold W. Bradshaw. November 1, 1918 - December 27, 2014. We lost a wonderful man in our lives a couple days after Christmas. Our dear Grandpa Jack died at the age of 96. I am so grateful I have been able to be a member of his family and have gotten to know him the past decade. He was always so kind and loving towards me and my family. Here is the first year I was there (2007). In 2009 (I had Logan 5 days later). 2010 (with the Easter bunny). 4th of July 2014. And she glued ...

Here's Bryce in his Halloween outfit (hardly a costume, really). He's Bryce, the Pumpkin King! Preston and I are sort of humbugs this year and haven't bothered to pull together outfits of our own. Maybe next year. :). The main attraction at Cannon Beach is Haystack Rock, which is a pretty cool-looking rock formation that juts up from the beach. We arrived pretty much exactly at low tide, so we got to sneak a peek at the tide pools around the base. Me at Haystack Rock. I'm happy to report that Bryce is li...

Do you see what I see? Preston in his brand new suit, gearing up for his big day of interviews at Intel. On June 13th, Preston got a call from someone at Intel to set up a phone interview for the next day. We were both so excited, but we weren't expecting much, since this was the first nibble we'd had out of all the many places Preston had applied to work. He thought the interviews had gone well, and we anxiously waited to hear back, which they said they would do within two weeks. Can you see it, too?

dan & lo: Hashtags 5
http://danandlo.blogspot.com/2014/06/hashtags-5.html
Sunday, June 1, 2014. For family home evening we went and visited my mom's friend's sister in law's puppies. They were silver labs and so cute I could die. There are not words to express adequately how much I love dogs. Birthday season at the Benson's has officially kicked off. (With the exception on my mother, we all have summer birthdays.) First with my Dad's. He is awesome, and seems to be getting awesomer every year. Do they even still make those? I just love food that is bad for me!

dan & lo: Dangerously Close to Old
http://danandlo.blogspot.com/2014/06/dangerously-close-to-old.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Dangerously Close to Old. A few weeks ago I became alarmed when I realized I was about to turn 26. I can deal with being 25, but 26, on the downside of the 20's, seems dangerously close to being OLD. So, I did the logical thing and attempted to prove that I am still young by staying up wayyyy past my bedtime and going to a hip concert with young people, aka my little sisters. I think not. So here's to kicking of year 26 with my new mantra: Do more of what makes you happy. I love t...

The Kreston Chronicles: Halloween Hijinks
http://krestonchronicles.blogspot.com/2012/11/halloween-hijinks.html
Last year we didn't do much for Halloween. Sure, we made Bryce wear a pumpkin outfit, but the way he burned through outfits at that age meant he wore it for about 3 hours. How festive. This year, though, he was a lot more able to enjoy things. We went through several pumpkins before we found the perfect one. Brycie gave it his blessing with a pat pat pat. And a ride in the wheelbarrow. When we got our specimen home, we opened her up. But not before taking it for a little ride. He went as Corduroy bear, o...
