The sun arrived here in the UK but without any joy. Again the roof popped like it had last time. I couldn't take it any more, the idea behind the composite roof was to keep things light and simple but I could not deal with the odd effect the sun had on the roof. Aluminium roof ready to go on. Got some 6mm ply wood as it was the lightest I could find and I am partly past caring for weight so much at this moment. So I made a paper template, cut 3 sections of ply wood. The back was then trimmed in black ultra suede to cover the inside plywood. I then coloured the staples in after the photo. Sunday, 4 January 2015.
