Three-Ply Cord: March 2011
http://three-plycord.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Two are better than one.a three-ply cord is not easily broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9,12. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Today was a wonderful day! We got to see our child and hear his or her little heart beating for the first time. There are not words to describe how beautiful that sound is. We are so relieved that the doctor saw nothing but good things as he looked at measurements and shapes and all of that. He said the heartbeat sounded excellent (145 bpm), the yolk sac measured perfectly (.4! Thank you Jesus, ...

Sojourners in Austria: February 2015
http://meldrewsteele.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 13, 2015. First taste of Spain. I had been watching tickets throughout the fall, and snagged a cheap deal to Barcelona for 4 days during the first week of February, the week before the spring semester started! And so, we packed our backpacks, stuffed our double stroller with diapers/wipes, bused to Bratislava, and took Ryanair over to Spain. What else to do on a plane but take "selfies"? Michael is becoming a pro at handling the iPhone camera. Over the Italian Alps. Found a Gaudi house!

The Life of Emily & LéMar: March 2011
http://emilyandlemar.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The Life of Emily and LéMar. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. A quick update on each of us:. LeMar is still working two jobs: Wachovia and Target. This amounts to about 55-60 hours of work per week. It is exhausting for him and for me as well. He will probably scale back to only working at Wachovia in the near future to spend more time with the family and pursue a volunteer position with a law enforcement agency in the area. This will allow him to keep his Florida certification current. Tuesday, March 8, 2011.

Three-Ply Cord: May 2011
http://three-plycord.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Two are better than one.a three-ply cord is not easily broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9,12. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. I have returned to (somewhat) my old self. I have energy. I even have hunger. And I can cook meals without being nauseous. I am not yet eating the meals I cook, but it's a start just to be able to cook. Weeks 6-8: mostly saltines, ginger ale, and cheese if I could get it down. Weeks 9-16: graduated to other very bland things like apples, salad, or anything simple and meatless. I would love to keep ...

Sojourners in Austria: August 2015
http://meldrewsteele.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2015. The last week before school at ITI resumed, we were invited by some Austrian friends to go to the mountains in the Styria region. We were very excited and thankful for yet another opportunity to explore Austria! We headed out and stopped in nearby Mariazell, which is a long-time place of Marian pilgrimage. Gilded underlay of the organ. The square adjacent to the basilica is chalk full of gift shops with religious items and Austrian keepsakes. We didn't hike through the canyon b...
