Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Carma turned one over the weekend, which is obviously insanity - where did my baby go? Oh, here she is, probably wondering why we're rubber-banding her ear into an odd elfin shape:. We partied pretty hard on the big day, starting off with Jack AND Carma invading my bed and snuggling together. This was at like 5am, meaning Chuck was already gone to work for the day - couldn't they have rolled on over to his empty half? And Sunday (and had church meetings right when he got home.).

Saturday, December 6, 2014. November was pretty much a blur. We were packing up our apartment and trying to fit in some of our favorite things to do in Dallas in the last few weeks we were still there. For the most part though, we just spent time at our usual places- the park and on our neighborhood walks. I pretty much hate packing. Everything gets disorganized and this is what we're left with in the last week before we leave: pajama tops and ugly see though yellow pants. A baby and her skateboard.

The kids did some cookie-decorating, bobbed for apples, caught doughnuts on a string, did a cupcake walk and a pinata. And of course we all enjoyed some yummy Halloween-themed food!
