The Anasacuta is based on a west Greenland style kayak, so three weeks paddling and a weeks hiking from Ilulissat were in a sense a pilgrimage as well as a jolly good holiday . Spence and Sprucey's aborted attempt (due to fog - only 300m to 1nm maximum visibility) and the very windy Sunday paddle from Stokes Bay to Calshot. On the beach at Bembridge- visibility getting better - do we stay or do we go? It was good watching the big fat heron in the background stalking the water's edge.

Rafting up by Horsesands Fort for the 2 minute silence on Remembrance Sunday. Rafted up, unfortunately the raft drifted into the Fort during the 2 minutes, necessitating an emergency break-up as the gun sounded to resume normal activity. On the way back from Fishbourne, paddling ahead of a training ship. And the lunch stop at Fareham.
