The Kuhens Family of the Carolinas. Everyone has a story. Copy often trumps all other kinds. Put simply, this is a matter of demand for advertising space outpacing the supply of what we used to call. At a time when printing presses have ever more time available to run. It is absurdly simple to get your story, whatever it may be, published. If you want to get some ink, launch. I have dedicated the majority of this page to exposing some examples of what I mean. The select few clippings displayed here a...

The lifestyle magazine of newberry sc. Walking the Palmetto Trail from Peak to Prosperity. Photographs by Ted B. Williams. November 25, 2014. Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year to get out and explore Newberry County. This fall try hiking or mountain biking the 10.8 mile Peak to Prosperity section of the Palmetto Trail. The difficulty is rated as easy, so there’s no excuse! We met Charles at Wilson’s Store in Pomaria. One of the three trail heads for the Peak to Prosperity section is ...

Sunday, May 18, 2014. A Life in Movies Pt. 1: 1980 - 1984. Do you think you can tell much about a person by the movies they watch? I'd say you can, but barely so. If this were a truly accurate account of someone, how could we explain people who absolutely love slasher movies? Would we run screaming from them? I believe this was the first movie I ever saw in a theater. My Uncle Dennis took me and even bought me a Superman ring at the concession. Pretty doggone cool! The first of many Harrison Ford movies ...

Thursday, August 8, 2013. The past two years our family has been receiving weekly garden boxes from Pinckney Farm. In addition to the standards such as sweet corn, greens, potatoes, broccoli, and pickling cucumbers we have also been introduced (forced, you might say) to eat things we could never have even identified a few years ago. The Childish Adult: January 2014
http://harperanddad.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 29, 2014. I used to have quite a CD collection. The first two discs I ever bought were John Lennon Live in New York City. And the Beatles compilation Past Masters, Part 1. Most of my CDs, however, came from our local music store, Vintage Vinyl. It was a cool place where all the guys behind the counter wore concert t-shirts and had tattoos up and down their arms. It was the type of place where you knew you'd be okay if you showed up at the counter with a Butthole Surfers. In the years s...
