Wednesday, September 3, 2014. September and Fall on the way! Well we can hope! We are hot and humid this week. not like it was last month with the wonderful fall like temps and days we had early! Knew was to good to be true! Looking forward to pulling out the Fall decor items and doing up the place one more time! Was hoping to have more things made but not so much! Oh well not like I NEED more! Course it is a bit too early for the fresh squash and pumpkins. Will just add them as they come available.

Friday, October 19, 2012. Fall comes to the living room. This is looking into our small living room from the entry door. We do not have an entry hall or foyer. You open the door and there you are! My newest Fall quilt on wall behind sofa. Looking into the arch is the dining room. Sorry dark pic . My camera is not a new fangled one but good enough for me! This is looking in from the hall way. Yes the monster in the room is the huge fireplace! Have no idea why one so huge was put in this small living room!

Thursday, January 1, 2015. Christmas Living Room 2014. These are not the best photos but my camera is not new nor top of the line! This wall hold lots of our antique and other needle work. Yes that is the cat tower our fur babes got for Christmas to the left. -). I gave up trying to get a good pic and went to this mode with no color and came out best! The mantle dressed up with a lot of nutcrackers! Our walls are not this bright yellow but lighting would not do right in here! We buy new ones every year&#...

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Christmas Dining Room 2014. Here we are on the last day of December 2014 and I am finally able to share some photos of our Christmas decorations! Monday, June 3, 2013. We have my mother-in-law's childhood bed in this room. It is an old oak 3/4 bed. At present it has a twin set on it. Thinking may look into finding a mattress to fit it. Did an online search and custom is not that much in price from a premium mattress set. I had found this toile duvet cover at the thrift. Was put in linen closet and forgotten! It is a king size. Had 2 standard shames with it all for 8 bucks! Was thinking I would trim it up and put old comforter inside.

Patiently waiting for Chayse. Join me in the last leg of our journey, the dream of bringing Chayse home. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. We were all hit with Jet lag pretty bad and it took us over a week to recover, I felt that we were starring in 'The night of the living dead" (hence the delay in my blog entry) but we have finally fallen into a routine and everything is going great. The girls love being together and have even had a few bouts of sibling rivalry, that's a good sign right? Not much to report.
