Feb 22, 2014. Sugar bread or short cake is very useful for a variety of desserts. I have a recipe that I found many years ago on a blog I follow, written by a former flight attendant, Anette Jernström. Apr 30, 2014. Spent the whole day baking bread for a confirmation. Then I had a meeting with a couple of ladies from church, to decide what well serve for dinner during our church meetings in May. Oct 22, 2014. For all my Swedish readers; I give you OSTMACKA and O'boy! Best of all, the ostmacka is made of (home-baked) sirapslimpa! And for those of you who are scratching your heads, wondering what in the world I'm talking about, here comes an explanation. :-). In Sweden we joke about that no matter who you ask "What did you have for breakfast? Everyone will answer "ostmacka" (open faced cheese sandwich) and "O'boy! A special brand of chocolate milk, loved by young and old. Hugs, Sof :-).

Sep 25, 2014. Sohere I am. 😊. Sorry for being gone for so long - but life happened! We've been busy with church meetings, where I happen to be one of the ladies who's in charge of the food, and we had the house full of guests. 😊. I'm glad I'm able to vote, even though I'm not. Living in Sweden anymore. Each vote counts! I mailed my vote for the Swedish government election - and without getting into details I can honestly say that I'm NOT happy with the final results! Dec 24, 2013. Christmas is here once again. :). There is so much I could write about Christmases long time ago. Or my thoughts about Christmases to come. But, all the food, goodies and gifts just feels a bit overwhelming right now. :P.
