My mighty fine crew. Sunday, August 25, 2013. Pier 2 Pier 2013. A nice calm swim at the Pier 2 Pier this year. Great water temp at 67F (with a few colder patches). I dodged the law again (against Lynn's cautions).and went naked, and maybe that was why I had a little fish on my toes basically the whole way. Darren very happily rode my draft and has offered me beer for my effort since it helped him beat David across. PS I will let anyone ride in my draft for beer. Pictures from TCoB's page:. My mighty fine crew. Wednesday, August 14, 2013. The LOST race this year was a smooth swim, for swimmers and for race organizers. As a swimmer it was very pleasant, great temp in my opinion at 62F, comfortable naked, I like swimming in a bit more waves, but it is nice to race flat water, for easy viewing, getting a good rhythm etc. As part of the race organization, the flat water, reasonable temp are so much less stressful! My mighty fine crew. On August 11-12,2011 I completed over 41k of swimming across. My mighty fine crew. Monday, August 4, 2014. Being fine with my 1st DNF. Ironman Lake Placid July 27, 2014. I struggled with my focus to train for this race; it started with a nagging leg injury, continued with a cold winter, a niece in NICU for months, busy-ness at work and coaching, etc. I let the excuses distract me and for that I have no excuse, except a feeling that I needed the downtime and wanted to focus on some other things going on with life. Christine is going to Kona. Happy being an Ironfan!

My mighty fine crew. Monday, July 29, 2013. I survived a 5 hour swim :). So Saturday, Lynn, Stacey and I planned a 5 hour training swim in Lake O. Courtney Paulk was in the area from Virginia to do some training for her Catalina Crossing in September, so we invited her along to join us. The craziness in Lake Ontario lately had us a bit nervous about what we could expect. The website showing water temperatures was predicting VERY COLD! Red sky in the morning, sailor's warning? Passed a few hydro towers.

No running races done in 1996-2002, 2006 and 2007). Other interesting running age group results:. 10 Top 3 finishes. 2nd in Absolutely Accurate Running Series in 2005. 2nd in the Subaru Running Series in 2010. TRIATHLON RESULTS (Since 1995):. S - swim; B - bike; R - run). Try-a-tri (375m S, 10k B, 2.5k R). Sprint (750m S, 20k B, 5k R). 9 Top 5 finishes.
