Persistant Nomad

Sunday, April 30, 2006. 8 day until I leave for HK and South East Asia. As some of you know, I decided a couple weeks ago to backpack through South East Asia as a result of not really trying to look for work and realizing this is probably the last time I'll have 4 months off to travel. Hopefully it'll actually be handy and deter someone from stealing my dirty laundry. It took me a couple reads of the badly written instructions and a couple tries before I actually figured out how it all worked. I'...

China Sojourn

http://continuingsojourn.blogspot.com/2005/08/dinner-mater.html

Tuesday, August 23, 2005. The dinner mater. Ahh the hot sweatiness that is Beijing in the summer. We went to a Yunnan resturant that specialized in Dai food. Yunnan is in the south of China and has the most ethnic minorities of any province in China. It's one of the most travalled place in China, especially Dali, which is full of burnout backpackers. China Sojourn

http://continuingsojourn.blogspot.com/2005/07/hanging-out-by-yellow-river.html

Wednesday, July 13, 2005. Hanging out by the Yellow river. At this point I had been travelling for 8 day straight by myself. I was sick the entire time (still am with a crazy sinus infection), took maybe 4 showers due to circumstances, and hadn't slept more than 5 hours a night. I was beat tired man. Thankfully I was heading back to the Jing the next morning. Words I never thought I would utter. Posted by Wilson @ 10:39 PM. A year abroad trying to learn the language I once loathed.

China Sojourn: The end

http://continuingsojourn.blogspot.com/2005/07/end.html

Monday, July 18, 2005. In conclusion, I have a complicated relationship with Beijing/China that is more heart than hate. Thanks for reading the blog. Posted by Wilson @ 10:35 PM. China Sojourn

http://continuingsojourn.blogspot.com/2005/07/only-in-chinaasia-would-you-find-this.html

Sunday, July 17, 2005. Only in China/Asia would you find this. A Louis Vuitton moped. Notice the Monogram decal, the Louis Vuitton leather seats (bad fake material, I checked) and the ultimate over the top detail, the passenger handles are made to look like the LV purse/bag handles. Those crazy Asians. I've never seen so many LV sponsored things as I have in this year in China. I'll miss it. Posted by Wilson @ 6:01 PM. A year abroad trying to learn the language I once loathed.

Bad things happen to good people; never lose the faith, always BELIEVE! I am angry at our good memories, mad that we couldn’t make more, mad that you tainted them all-past present and future. I’m angry that you chose her. Bitter that others refer to her as your girlfriend. Mad that I have yet to find your permanent replacement. I hate that I instantly look for your face in crowds no matter the town. Angry that we didn’t…couldn’t work out. I wish that we were meant for one another. Before I had hope in US.

Andrea’s Blog – A year in Edinborough. China Sojourn – A year spent in Beijing learning the language I once loathed. Island in the Sun – Weezer. August 20, 2006, 9:52 pm. Still dealing with jet-lag; however I’ll admit I’m not trying very hard to beat it. Naps at 2pm? Sure Going to bed at 10pm and getting up at noon? Yup Spending most days in a daze? Indeed. I’m also definitely still suffering from a travel hangover and adjusting to a more quiet and stationary life. 1) Best of South East Asia. Absolutely;...

Monday, March 30, 2015. Review of TaylorMade RBZ Iron Set. Review of the TaylorMade RBZ Irons. Monday, February 9, 2015. I believe in bad luck. I believe that nobody should ever walk under a ladder, step on a crack in the sidewalk, break a mirror, and if I unknowingly or unwillingly accomplish any of those three, that person will begin to receive bad luck. The game can still be won if one of my teammates step on the foul line. The Packers could. Than to be sorry. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
