China Sojourn
http://continuingsojourn.blogspot.com/2005/08/dinner-mater.html
Tuesday, August 23, 2005. The dinner mater. Ahh the hot sweatiness that is Beijing in the summer. We went to a Yunnan resturant that specialized in Dai food. Yunnan is in the south of China and has the most ethnic minorities of any province in China. It's one of the most travalled place in China, especially Dali, which is full of burnout backpackers. Wednesday, July 13, 2005. Hanging out by the Yellow river. At this point I had been travelling for 8 day straight by myself. I was sick the entire time (still am with a crazy sinus infection), took maybe 4 showers due to circumstances, and hadn't slept more than 5 hours a night. I was beat tired man. Thankfully I was heading back to the Jing the next morning. Words I never thought I would utter. Posted by Wilson @ 10:39 PM. A year abroad trying to learn the language I once loathed.

Sunday, July 17, 2005. Only in China/Asia would you find this. A Louis Vuitton moped. Notice the Monogram decal, the Louis Vuitton leather seats (bad fake material, I checked) and the ultimate over the top detail, the passenger handles are made to look like the LV purse/bag handles. Those crazy Asians. I've never seen so many LV sponsored things as I have in this year in China. I'll miss it. Posted by Wilson @ 6:01 PM. A year abroad trying to learn the language I once loathed.
