Peru is known as "the land of extremes". Chincha is on the desert end of those extremes. Temperatures are quite pleasant thorough out the non-summer months of the year (remember - Peru is in the Southern Hemisphere so seasons are the reverse of the Northern Hemisphere). Pastor Jaime, Pastor Nestor, Duane Counts. Girls' Refuge - Chincha. Churches we work with in Chincha. Pastor Jaime currently has two churches – His main church, Getsemani, and “Jesus Responds” in the community of the 15 of Augostot. He also has begun cell groups in two neighborhoods. Each cell group has 20 members! Pastor Nestor currently tends to two churches – His main church, Los Jardines and a cell church in 15 de Augosto.
