Baton Rouge Garden Blog. Blogging about my garden in South Louisiana. Saturday, April 23, 2005. Saw a hummer today! I am so excited.finally saw a hummingbird visit the backyard today! It checked out the salvia and the cigar plant then headed across the pool to the feeder.I thought. But it spent most of its time at the yellow LA iris and ignored the feeders altogether! I didn't have my camera close by so didn't get a pic. Hope it finds its way back! Put in a large agapanthus in place of the hawthorne next...
