SouthEastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission authored an Aquatic Plant Managment Plan Update for Phantom Lakes. FIVE YEAR WEED HARVESTING PERMIT STARTED IN 2012. Mark Carlson was reelected to a three year term as commissioner.

Phantom Swans

The Trumpeter Swans are Back in 2009. Trumpeter Swans have been seen on the lake every year now since 2006. It has been reported as many as 14 have been seen at once. It is believed that they are using the Phantoms on their migration path, as well as at least one couple spending the summer. It looks like they have found a home. Trumpeter Swans Sighting In 2008.
