Kids are at school, Jon is back and work and here I sit with Elvis snoring on the chair while I figure out what to do with all this time! I’ve worked at church for about 7 years! It’s been my life! Mending a broken heart. How do you help your teenager navigate through these storms? How do you watch them, everyday, sink a little deeper into a hole and watch their beautiful smile disappear? Why can’t I just pick her up, kiss her hurting heart and everything be better? Why can’t I go into school yell at all those kids for gossiping, saying lies … why can’t I fight her battles. We are deeply saddened that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia.
