What a bad blogger I am! Sorry I’ve been flat out. I’ve spent a couple of weeks in a cave, and another couple back with the devils at Mole Creek, and then on Maria Island again. Maria was full on, and a real challenge this time, having being given a new bit of kit to play with, the Dynamic Perceptions Stage Zero. Time lapse dolly. I shot just under 10,000 stills to be turned into timelapse shots. I also screwed up my courage and gave Magic Lantern. A go on my 5D mk 2. Very cool! The Maria Island cemetery...

Using the Sony PMW-F3 for wildlife documentary work. I spent a week working with David Parer and Andrew Sully at Trowunna Wildlife Park. So far we’ve had two trips to Maria Island, and one to Mole Creek for me. On this occasion, I had the opportunity to do some shooting with a Sony PMW-F3, and a Canon 5D mk 2.
