http://the-storybook-shelf.blogspot.com/2013/11/xanders-panda-party.html
Thursday, November 7, 2013. Written by Linda Sue Park. Illustrated by Matt Phelan. Recommended for ages 4 and up. This is my new favorite children's book. And that is not. In Xander's Panda Party. This is the rare children's book that has nearly perfect rhyme and. And the ILLUSTRATIONS. Don't even get me started. I want to hang them on my wall. Well, maybe a nursery wall. And they complement the story so well. I just can't say enough good things about this cute little book. Tags: A REALLY Good Book.

Whoop Scoop: Double standard
http://whoopscoop.blogspot.com/2013/09/double-standard.html
Tuesday, September 3, 2013. I disappear for a month and then come back with a rant. Please forgive me! I know it is obvious, but really? Pictures of your scantily clad sons doing muscle poses on a beach. However, even without the pictures, the article dances dangerously close to the line of "men are. Meatheads with no self control" and "women are evil temptresses so no man is guilty in his own discretions". We are obviously very visual, it's just that society isn't trying to sell us men. How many teenage...

Talking to your kids about sex. Healing from sexual abuse. Objectification of men and women in the media. Healthy body image and its' effects on a sexual relationship. http://dailyloveletters-kaylyn.blogspot.com/2011/09/day-103-chalk-on-boardwalk.html
Friday, September 9, 2011. Day #103: Chalk on the Boardwalk. August 27, 2011. My friends invited me to an outdoor cinema that goes on Fridays and sometimes Saturdays in the summer. There's a popular boardwalk close by that is a hotspot for chalk drawers. And I had never bestowed my creative juices upon it before. So I made sure that we went this time, so I could redeem myself from the horrific Cannon Center incident. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Art Blog: Hello, i love you. Day #105: Coloring Page.

Monday, August 1, 2011. July 20, 2011. So my friend, Cameron, brought sidewalk chalk. Naturally, I was crazy excited to play with it which we did after lunch at the Cannon Center. Little did we know that it is considered vandalism and although they were pretty nice about it made us clean it up. It was a sad experience, but a wonderful story. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
