Adventures in Antigua - a blog about island life spent with sun, sea and sand. Sunday, November 09, 2014. Learning to fly. under water. Not your regular snorkeling experience. In our family photo albums there are photos of me wearing my mask and snorkel on the beach from back before I was five years old. From one of Adventure Antigua's team who now lives abroad. AT LONG FORGOTTEN SHORES. Written by: Nian Blanchard. There is a place I long to be; at long forgotten shores. Adventures in Antigua - a blog about island life spent with sun, sea and sand. Monday, August 23, 2010. Antigua's 366th beach is an ignored government toxic waste dump. An increase in the tax on the imported diesel, a good price control mechanism on fuel oil derived from wast oil, and a very good collection system for waste engine oil. If these things would be encouraged, the island would be so much better off and photos like this would be a thing of the disgusting past. Yet, this isn't the only one....
