Woodworking Artisans in New Mexico. The land has special importance for me and is one of the main reasons I live in New Mexico. I strive to capture its natural beauty in my carvings. Perhaps the most stunning view from the Village of Placitas is sunset over Cabezon, particularly near the Summer Solstice. Cabezon is the remnant of an ancient volcano and is the most striking feature in the western sky. This carving was created for a Study in a family’s home to capture one of their favorite photographs.
