Monday, May 24, 2010. Daniel goes to Prom. Daniel went to his senior prom on Saturday. He went with Ally, a good friend from school. They were part of a group of 5 couples that went as a group. We have another grandson! He is healthy and beautiful. He weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces and is 22 inches long. As of this writing, a name had not yet been given, but it shouldn't be long now. Thursday, April 29, 2010. A beautiful strawberry plant. Amelia really enjoyed picking the strawberries. I told her to pick the bright red ones, but a few small green ones made it in her basket anyway. Charlotte definitely enjoyed eating more than picking. She did, however, want to hold one of the pails, but I had to take it away when the strawberries started to spill out every time she moved. I can't wait to go back so I have enough to make some jam. Words cannot express how incredibly happy we are for Christian and Mary and for the safe arrival of their two new beautiful babies. First born was Maggie, she weighed 3 pounds and 12 ounces. I wouldn't make another great decision like that until 7th grade when I decided to pretend that my name was really Sarah. I have learned to like my name. Thursday, November 22, 2012. Elder Daniel Plautz Leaves for His Mission! We had to say good-bye to Daniel yesterday. He left for the Missionary Training Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He'll be there for about 8-9 weeks and then depart for Montevideo, Uruguay, where he will serve as a full time missionary for two years. I'm going to miss this boy! He called this morning to let us know he arrived safely. He said that he doesn't understand anything anyone is saying! Hilarious. That will change soon!
